The Kilt
1. Waist Measurement: Taken above hip bone and below rib cage.
(eg. 79cm or 31in)

2. Seat Measurement: Taken over trousers and round largest part of hips.
(eg. 99cm or 39in)

3. Length: Taken from top of hip bone to top of knee cap when standing.
(eg. 56cm or 22in for man of 1.73m or 5ft 8in height wearing shoes)
(eg. 58.5cm or 23in for man of 1.78m or 5ft 10in height wearing shoes)
(eg. 61cm or 24in for man of 1.83m or 6ft height wearing shoes)

4. Rise: Depending on the height of the person it can be between 1 1/2 to 2/12 inches. It must be added to the length from the hip to the top of the knee cap.
For example: People under 5'8" must add 1 1/2 inches
people between 5'9" and 6' must add 2"
people over 6' must add 2 1/2"
Kilt Jacket, Day or Evening
1. Chest Measurement: Taken over shirt.
(eg. 101.5cm or 40in)

2. Waist Measurement: Taken over shirt.
(eg. 81cm or 32in)

3. Jacket Full Back Length: Taken over jacket from nape to normal jacket length not kilt jacket length.
(eg. 79cm or 31in)

4. Half back length: Taken over jacket from nape to waist.
(eg. 48cm or 19in)

5. Half Back Width: Taken over jacket from center back to shoulder seam.
(eg. 21cm or 8 1/4in)

6. Center Back to Elbow: Taken over jacket and with bent elbow.
(eg. 51cm or 20in)

7. Full Sleeve Measurement: Taken over jacket and with bent elbow, from center back to wrist bone.
(eg. 81cm or 32in)
